CARE INSTRUCTIONS
With proper care these rugs will give many, many years of service.
DO NOT HAND WASH!!! You can't get the water out and the rug will stay wet too long. This can cause the rug to mildew and the colors to fade. If rug becomes saturated with water, immediately place in the washer on spin cycle to remove the water. Never drip dry. The colors can run if it stays too wet.
Our recommendation for ideal machine washing up to a 4’x6’ - use a front loading-tumble type machine found in most laundromats. Use cold water and mild detergent. Remove immediately and lay flat to dry. We do not recommend dry cleaning our rugs.
Chair pads or our small 1/2 circle may be washed in your home machine with cold water and mild detergent.
For larger rugs (larger than 4 x 6), steam cleaning is ideal. Make sure the rug is only damp when finished.
For spot cleaning, we recommend Spot Shot Rug Cleaner or any product that is safe for wool. Do not soak rug with water.
NEVER PUT IN DRYER or CLEAN WITH OXY-CLEAN TYPE PRODUCTS!!! [This will permanently damage your rug]– Always air dry - flat.
It is not uncommon for your rug to develop sprouts. Sprouts are loose loops or pieces of yarn that stick out. Do not be alarmed. Simply pull the piece up and clip just below the surface of the rug. It will not harm your rug. If you think your rug has a more serious problem, please call.
